Taken 3 (2015)
Good old Liam Neeson action, though some plot points didn't make much sense, and seemed too unbelievable. Includes every cliché line from any action movie you can think of. -

Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995)
The third installment of the Die Hard franchise. As we've seen time and time again, when a franchise gets to the 3rd part it loses it's charm, and this movie is no exception. There is barely any trace of Die Hard left in this movie apart from the main character and the title. John McClane is running from one place to another like a headless chicken throughout the city while the terrorists do their thing. Only at the end does the movie pick up it's slack. -

Die Hard 2 (1990)
Still has the same Die Hard vibe as the original. Locked up in this small location with terrorists racing against the clock, John McClane has to save the day again (and his wife). -

Die Hard (1988)
Classic 80s action never gets old. The dialogue isn't as cheesy as you'd imagine for '88 and the practical effects look stunning. Overall a joy to watch. -

American Psycho (2000)
Accurate portrayal of our current society where everyone is so self absorbed that they don't take anything besides themselves seriously. Everyone is too busy trying to one-up each other to really believe Bateman is out there killing people. Although he is a psychopath, so is everyone else around him. -

Kate (2021)
John wick but make it girl instead. Well choreographed fights, awesome visuals and interesting japanese popular culture influence. Interactions between the two main characters are funny and the world building is great. -

Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)
The tongue in cheek humor combined with interesting plot and great action scenes make this movie a certified cult classic. The chemistry between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is fun to watch. -

SAS: Red Notice (2021)
It's a bit corny, dialogue could use some work. Enjoyable action but very forgettable. -

Dune: Part One (2021)
Plot was hard to follow and I didn't really understand what was happening. Pacing could have been better. There were some cool scenes though and the world building is great. -

Wrath of Man (2021)
Fun action movie, interesting premise with some unexpected plot twists. Jason Statham is the perfect actor for the role of the cold blooded killer who will do anything to avenge his son. -

Nobody (2021)
John Wick-esque film about a badass who takes justice into his own hands. The action scenes are enjoyable and the main character is relatable. Overall a very good movie for Wick fans. -

The Little Things (2021)
The premise is interesting, unfortunately the story never goes anywhere, there is no character development, just nothing. Very dull movie overall. -

Don't Breathe (2016)
Very scary and disturbing, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Have to knock some stars off just because I was so disgusted that I had to cover my eyes at points. If that's not something you mind, you might like this more. -

Alpha (2018)
Very boring, main character is unrelatable and makes dumb decisions. Story makes no sense and just drags on. Wanted to stop watching at multiple points. Few good looking shots make this not a 0. -

Rare Exports (2010)
A darker take on myth of Santa claus in the Finnish arctic. The tension and buildup is great and I especially like the design of Santa and his helpers, but could have used less family movie cliché tropes. -

Game Night (2018)
Funny jokes and incredible plot twists keep this movie interesting. The tilt-shift lens shots give it a unique look and are a joy to watch if you enjoy nerding over camerawork. -

Raya and the Last Dragon (2021)
Beautiful animation, funny dragon, interesting world building, well choreographed fight scenes. Not only for kids! -

Chef (2014)
As a food enjoyer and a perfectionist I really liked this and could relate to Jon Favreau's character. Nice and heartwarming movie with a rare happy ending. The pasta Aglio e Olio scene with Scarlett Johansson will be forever imprinted in my mind. -
